Membership, Education and Registration Committtee |
| Duties: |
Main duties include:
- attending committee meetings
- actively promote the benefits of professional membership to colleagues and others in the industry
- assessing applicants for professional membership/EngC registration
- make recommendations for the development of education/training
- review/update membership and registration fact sheets
- attend meetings on behalf of the committee on an adhoc basis
- act as a Professional Review Assessor for interviews and assessments of porfolio/technical reports

WJS Management Committee |
| Duties: |
- develop, administer and promote the activities of the WJS
- formulate the requirements for admission to WJS Membership
- advise on the requirements of Members
- enhancing the benefits of membership
- administer the Branches, Technical Groups and other services provided for Members
- encourage and facilitate the transfer of technology and networking via the WJS National Conference & other meetings

| Duties: |
available for adhoc review and marking of technical report submissions as part of the assessment procedure of Professional membership and Engineering Council registration |

- detailed technical knowledge with relation to your own specialism/area of industry interest

| Duties: |

| Duties: |
to assist in the running of conference stand, demonstrating "Welding with Chocolate" experiments to children and young people for 1, 2 or 3 days |
