Overview
The Offshore Oil and Gas Technical Group hold meetings in Aberdeen and other industry centres covering the topics of offshore structures, pipelines, risers, process systems and subsea installations. The group covers the technology areas of materials, equipment, welding, design, fabrication, non-destructive testing and inspection.

Matthew joined TWI in January 2012, as a Project Leader in the Fracture Integrity Management section. He read Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at the University of Cambridge (Churchill College) and has prior work experience in Nuclear Engineering, the Armed Forces (Royal Navy) and the MOD. Matthew is also currently the Vice Chairman of The Welding Institute Younger Members Committee, with a particular interest in education outreach.
