Classes of membership

TWI Professional logo The Professional Division of TWI (The Welding Institute) offers two types of membership:

  • those linked to CEng, IEng and Eng Tech

  • Member, Incorporated and Technical Member of The Welding Institute alone - those grades of membership will be of particular interest to those candidates for whom EC (UK) registration is not relevant particularly people from overseas.

The Welding Institute allows some flexibility of membership/registration to take account of individuals' qualifications and experience.

This provides an opportunity for more people to enhance their career potential by gaining the status and recognition of Professional Membership.
