Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering

06 March 2012

The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, a £1 million prize, awarded biennially, was established at the end of 2011. Announced by all three Party Leaders, its aim is to become the pre-eminent international award for engineering achievement. The judging panel includes some of the top names in international science and engineering.

As the search for a winner continues, the website for the award will discover and celebrate the untold stories of engineering success and the people behind them. It is hoped such reports and case studies will inspire a new generation of engineers to take up the challenges of the future.

The first winner will be announced in spring 2013
