Younger Members Representatives
We are recruiting young engineers from each Branch of the Welding & Joining Society to represent the younger members within our local regions. This is your chance to have a voice and be a part of the engineering future -
become a younger members' representative.

As a Younger Member rep you will work with the Younger Members' Committee to:
- Represent your views
- Generate new ideas to encourage new people into engineering
- Highlight the importance of engineering to students
- Promote continuing professional development (CDP)
- Support students and young engineers to gain membership of The Welding Institute
- Support students and young engineers to gain registration with the Engineering Council UK
- Create local networks within the WJS branch areas
- Contribute to the overall Younger Members representatives network
