Knowledge network for welding and joining professionals
The Welding and Joining Society (WJS), is an open society for all those with an interest in welding and materials joining. Membership of the WJS provides a springboard to those in the engineering community, particularly those in joining and welding engineering, who aspire to professional membership and Engineering Council registration.
For many it’s an open door to a professional journey of learning and discovery.
No formal welding qualifications are required for membership, just an innate passion for welding and joining. You may be engaged in a related industry, or you’ve been taken by the welding bug while restoring a classic car….or perhaps you’re a metal sculptor! Members of the society come from disparate backgrounds.
