The Welding Institute responds to consultations from Parliament, Government, the
European Union and other agencies. The responses submitted include contributions
from our members, providing you with a means of offering your opinion and helping
us shape the future.
Consultations we are currently involved with include:
Design and Technology (D&T) as a core subject in the national curriculum
Through E4E, the engineering profession has committed
its support to the Design and Technology Association (DATA) campaign to ensure D&T
remains a part of the national curriculum for 5-14 year olds. Click here to see the latest issue of Register News for information on the
